You don’t have to worry about dinner, or the dishes, or the laundry, or planning. The tranquil setting and structured activities of a yoga retreat provides a peaceful environment to relax. Regular yoga and meditation help lower cortisol levels, promoting relaxation and mental clarity.

Our retreats offer nutritious meals to fit your dietary requirements, food that nourishes your body from the inside out. You'll get a taste of clean eating and might even learn new recipes to incorporate into your daily routine. For our international retreats, you get to experience the food of the country and culture we are in and maybe even get to experience a cookery class.

Meet Your Retreat Guide

Escape Retreats was born out of my belief in living fully through the five senses: touch, smell, sound, sight, and taste. These retreats, whether near or far, invite participants to step out of their comfort zones, connecting through daily yoga practices, spa days, wine tasting, nature hikes, skiing, snowboarding, and cultural adventures. My goal is to help others live with passion, purpose, and an open heart.
With over 20 years of experience teaching yoga (since 2003) and organizing retreats worldwide (since 2013), I also offer daily classes and workshops in my hometown of Paphos, Cyprus, and have been building an online yoga community since 2020.
There’s nothing I love more than sharing the joy of travel, adventure, and wellness. I hope to inspire you to embrace a life of possibility and transformation.

Welcome! I’m Vanessa—a wellness advocate, passionate traveler, yoga teacher and lover of life.
I am the founder, organizer, and yoga teacher behind Escape Retreats, where I combine my love for adventure, wellness, and community.
Originally from Cheshire, UK, I left home at 17, living across the USA and Australia before settling in beautiful Cyprus, where my family and I have called home for the past 15 years. My travels have taken me to Cambodia, Vietnam, India, Sri Lanka, Bali, France, Italy, Greece, and Bulgaria, enriching my life with diverse cultures and experiences.
Since turning 50 in 2023 and embracing life as an “empty nester,” I’ve felt a renewed passion for sharing wellness, travel, and adventure.
